Screening for both domestic violence and substance abuse is an important tool for identifying barriers to safety and offering increased options for survivors. This webinar describes how to screen IN rather than OUT and explores how this can reduce program service barriers, end isolation, enhance safety, and ultimately make advocacy easier.

People who have experienced abuse, violence, and trauma may have difficulty trusting others, even those who appear to have good intentions. This webinar explores reasons survivors may not trust advocates, counselors, therapists or other social service providers and describes trauma-informed ways to demonstrate trustworthiness and begin the process of building trust.
