Historically, the domestic violence field has separated services for adults and services for children and youth rather than building a more integrated approach to family-centered services. This training module provides guidance and resources for supporting children, parents, and families affected by domestic violence, and centers the relationships between protective caregivers and their children as a primary source of resilience and healing. This 6-hour training can be offered as a part of the Core Curriculum or as a standalone module for in-person or online training.
