In Module 3, we will focus on the issues that commonly arise for us in creating respectful, safe, caring, collaborative, empowering relationships with the survivors with whom we work, as well as other people in our lives. In Module 1, we talked about addressing the issues that often get in the way of doing “good advocacy.” For the most part, those issues arise from the challenges we experience in our relationships with survivors, how what we bring to those relationships can affect the people we work with, and how what they bring to our interactions, in turn, may affect us.
